A non-profit organization is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Program Coordinator.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will support all programs, projects, grants, and staff. They will monitor and evaluate both family and peer programs as needed by the organization, providing guidance to affiliates, trainers, presenters, and the public on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the VP of programs on grant opportunities and the development of new programs.
- Manage and coordinate state and local training.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to local affiliates, ensuring fidelity of program delivery within local communities.
- Collaborate with local affiliates on program training needs, creating a statewide approach to delivering state training to local affiliates.
- Oversight of grant contract deliverables and guidelines.
- Maintain awareness of all program activities, coordinating with affiliate coordinators, teachers, and facilitators to provide information for implementation.
- Support in developing budgets for each program and training.
- Schedule and oversee coordination of state-conducted program trainings.
- Oversight of the Employee Trainer roster, updating as needed.
- Collect and maintain records of training outcomes and projected reach.
- Support in planning large events.
- Update affiliates with Family and Peer Programs information via email announcements, posting on the website, state newsletter, weekly report, and blog.
- Create and update all program forms, including applications and training confirmation letters.
- Proof, prepare, order, and distribute annual updates to affiliates.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish language.
- Education and/or experience: Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, or equivalent; or three to five years working experience and/or training in a non-profit organization.
- Experience with event planning and editing skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work effectively as part of a nonprofit team dedicated to transforming mental health crisis response systems worldwide.
- Ability to interact professionally, effectively, and appropriately with high-level professionals, board members.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to complete all responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and managing timelines with attention to detail.
- Efficient and accurate with written and oral communication, proofreading skills, and presentation skills.
- Operational experience and proficiency with Zoom video conferencing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and presentation development.
