Responsibilities- Conduct thorough eye examinations to diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatment plans.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma surgery.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive eye care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Stay informed about advancements in ophthalmic technology and treatment options through continuous education and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Valid medical license and board certification in Ophthalmology.
- Proven experience as an Ophthalmologist, with expertise in diagnosis and treatment of various eye conditions and diseases.
- Proficiency in performing eye surgeries, including cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma surgery.
