StaffBright has an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal professional to join one of our clients’ growing teams! We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide strategic legal support across business operations, with a focus on compliance, contracts, and employment law matters. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in guiding legal decision-making while protecting the organization’s interests.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, employment law, regulatory compliance, and general business operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements to support business initiatives
- Advise on risk management, internal investigations, and the development of policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including HR, Finance, and Operations—to align legal strategies with organizational goals
What We Need From You
- Extensive experience in corporate contracts, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws and their impact on business operations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
All-Star Skillset
- Familiarity with the Property & Casualty insurance industry, including regulatory frameworks for both admitted and non-admitted lines.
- Prior litigation experience, with the ability to assess and manage legal disputes effectively.
- Working knowledge of HR practices and employment law to support internal HR-related legal guidance.
