What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Technician position at StaffBright?

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assemble UAV airframes, structural components, and propulsion systems
- Fabricate and finish aircraft parts using carbon fiber and composite materials
- Build and install wire harnesses according to technical schematics
- Route, terminate, and test electrical connections throughout the aircraft
- Solder, crimp, and troubleshoot basic electrical systems
- Conduct quality control inspections and pre-flight mechanical checks
- Operate specialized tooling and CNC equipment for component fabrication
- Follow detailed technical documentation and assembly procedures to ensure accuracy
What We Need From You:
- 5 years of experience in precision mechanical or aeronautical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and build wire harnesses
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
Bonus Skills:
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred
- Experience with composite materials and carbon fiber fabrication
