StaffBright is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Project Manager to join our client’s expanding team in Livonia, MI. With 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing project management, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving the success of key projects during a time of exciting growth and facility expansion. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Lead strategic project planning sessions to ensure alignment with client goals, project scope, timelines, and budgets. Create and manage detailed project schedules, oversee resources, and track milestones to ensure seamless execution.
- Team Leadership: Guide and support cross-functional teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Provide clear direction, delegate tasks efficiently, and cultivate a positive, results-driven team environment.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to cost controls while optimizing resource utilization. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering consistent updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly. Work closely with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
- Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and maintain momentum.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables adhere to strict quality standards and comply with relevant safety regulations and industry-specific guidelines. Maintain a focus on quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and status reports. Ensure that all documentation complies with both internal processes and external requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred).
- 4 years of project management experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in automation and/or equipment installations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire collaboration and deliver results.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
