Job description
StaffBright is currently assisting a client to find a Surety Agent to join their team in Troy, MI. Ideal applicants will have working experience with and/or knowledge of surety bonds.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Evaluate and assess financial and operational risks associated with surety bonds for businesses.
- Collaborate with clients, underwriters, and agents to understand financial positions and develop appropriate underwriting terms.
- Provide expertise to mitigate risk while maintaining profitable portfolios.
What We'll Need From You:
- 3-5 years of experience working with surety bonds or a foundational understanding of the field.
- Experience with an understanding financial statements to assess financial strength and ability to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
