Currently, StaffBright has an exciting job opportunity for a Test Engineer for a client located in Saline, MI. This role is responsible for designing and building functional test stations, developing automated test scripts using Visual Studio (VB/C ), and executing detailed test plans to validate hardware and software performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test system development, product troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration to improve testing efficiency and product reliability.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Test Planning and Test Station Design
- Analyze product designs to develop effective test strategies
- Create and document test software for automation development
- Perform manual and automated testing across products
- Develop diagnostic scripts to troubleshoot failures
- Identify, log, and track defects using tracking tools
- Work with development teams to resolve issues
- Build and maintain test scripts for automation
What We'll Need From You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field
- 4–10 years of experience in test engineering
- Background in software testing and quality assurance
- Proficient with Visual Studio (VB/C ) or similar tools
- Experience designing test stations and mechanical fixtures
- Knowledge of automated test systems and on-board programming
