A local well established warehouse in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Bilingual Warehouse Shift Lead to join their 2nd shift team. In this role you will be responsible for supervising the warehouse, personnel and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct daily safety walks to ensure compliance with safety standards while monitoring the quality, production, and performance of all personnel
- Prepare and complete detailed reports using Excel and the company database, ensuring accuracy and clarity for management review
- Oversee daily check-in/check-out procedures and adherence to standard operating procedures, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Assist with clock in process for all employees
- Aiding in minimizing overall noise throughout the facility
- Regularly have group analysis of employee’s performance ratings
- Enforcing time off requests, or any other personal matters, to all be handled during non-working hours
- Aiding with personnel keeping overall facility clean and in order with no slips/trips/fall hazards
Who We’re Looking For
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual - Spanish and English required
- Trilingual - Spanish, English, and Creole preferred
- 2 -4 years experience in management, logistics or related field
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and excel
What You Can Expect
- $20/hour, starting pay
- Monday - Friday, 1:45pm - 10:30pm
- Paid Holidays
- 5 days PTO after 90 days, 5 additional PTO days after 1 year
