  • Schedule: Two week ON/Two week OFF (12 hour shifts)
  • $7584 per 2 weeks worked on shift
  • Gross Earnings includes $800 Travel Stipend per 14 days on shift
  • Lodging Provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating the condition of critically ill patients upon flight arrival and commencing with treatment.
  • Performing advanced critical care interventions and monitoring vitals throughout the flight.
  • Informing awaiting emergency departments on the condition of patients, as well as the ETA.
  • Providing detailed information on medicines administered and procedures performed upon arrival.
  • Collaborating with healthcare specialists after the admission of critically ill patients, when required.
  • Inventorying medical supplies, instruments, and medication, as well as replenishing stocks on the aircraft.
  • Ensuring that regular maintenance is performed on specialized onboard medical equipment.
  • Following in-flight protocols and performing pilot assistance duties as needed to ensure safe and timely arrival.
  • Staying up to date with the latest developments in the practice of in-flight trauma care.

Qualifications:
  • Skills as required to practice as an paramedic as defined by assigned state scope of practice and advanced practice skills as defined by Medical Director(s) and Medical Standards.
  • Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals and the public while executing strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels.
  • Demonstrates high critical thinking and reasoning skills and strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment that requires ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including 24-hour shifts and overtime.
  • Dependable and self-motivated while working in a frequently changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Current compact state license.
  • National license.
  • Current certifications in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS.
  • TNCC/ITLS/PHTLS advanced provider is REQUIRED upon hire.
  • Specialty certification: (FP-C) is required.
  • EVOC/EVOS.

Job Type: Contract.
Pay: From $7,854.00 bi-weekly

Schedule:
  • Overtime.
