Field Service Technician – Junior Level

Role Summary
We are hiring a Field Service Technician to join our team: As a Field Service Technician, you will help clients install, repair, and maintain equipment. You will be part of the service department, working closely with the sales team to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, but is also organized, structured, and customer-focused. This is an entry-level role— perfect for someone with an electromechanical education looking to grow their career. In this role, it is required that someone be self-motivated, a great learner, and one who takes initiative and can work without constant supervision.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose errors or technical problems on in-house machines and determine proper solutions.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs and modifications on the mechanical, electrical, or software aspects of equipment at customer sites.
- Assist with start-up, checkout, installation, and testing of new equipment.
- Advise customers on equipment use and best practices.
- Build strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional service.
- Learn a lot about the industry!
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Mechanical or Trade School background preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical machines (training provided).
- Reading & Comprehension: Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
- Tools & Equipment: Experience using various mechanical, electrical, and testing tools.
- Experience: Prior work with machine tool repairs (or similar) is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Must pass a basic mechanical and electrical assessment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
