HVAC Technician
We are looking for two goal driven candidates willing to learn about HVAC, who can communicate and collaborate with the supervisor, customer, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost-effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services.
The HVAC Technician may be do the following:
- Perform comprehensive HVAC maintenance including the assembly, installation, repair of all items associated with heating and cooling and piping systems, and minor plumbing & electrical maintenance according to specifications and HVAC codes. Measures, cuts, and installs ductwork, wire, and fittings using hand and power tools.
- Document procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies and keep work areas orderly, clean and safe.
- Perform HVAC construction work including layout, demolition and installation of all types of HVAC systems.
- Ensure that all HVAC services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, electrical codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements.
- Plans and coordinates workflow with other trades and acts as resource related to HVAC systems.
A company vehicle will be provided for work use
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Push/pull/lift up to 50lbs
- Make estimates of materials required
- Work independently in the absence of supervision
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Work at various changing work areas including elevated heights, on ladders/platforms
- 2 years of experience is preferred
Requirements:
- Michigan Driver License
- Work authorization
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Day shift
