SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Reviews jobs to determine the burning requirements
- Coordinates with Production / Inventory control to assure that raw material is available to cut scheduled jobs
- Ensures nests created are appropriate and can be accomplished
- Ensures raw material being used has been consigned for specific job
- Coordinates with Engineering to resolve any problems found in the drawings
- Checks drawings for errors in templates and call outs.
- Uses the computer tools available create nesting programs
- Completes required job paperwork and job transaction reporting in ERP system
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to use computer to keep track of raw material inventories and program nesting for burn programming
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing/sitting all day, occasional lifting.
- Lifts up to 25-50 lbs.
