Maintenance Technician- CNC Environment

Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of our CNC machinery. Your expertise will be essential in minimizing downtime, maximizing efficiency, and ensuring the safety of our operations. From routine maintenance tasks to troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, you will be at the forefront of keeping our shop running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks according to maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment condition.
• Recommend equipment upgrades or modifications to improve performance and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or CNC machining environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for scheduled maintenance or urgent repairs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
