Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wildlife Repair Technician to join our growing team in Grand Rapids! In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for removing and excluding unwanted animals, repairing structural damage, and implementing preventative measures. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in construction, handyman work, or general labor who enjoy working outdoors and solving challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wildlife exclusion and removal services based on customer work orders.

• Conduct structural repairs and install preventative solutions to prevent future wildlife intrusion.

• Inspect work sites to ensure quality and completion of all tasks.

• Maintain a safe and organized job site, following safety protocols.

• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.

• Assist in the training and mentorship of junior technicians.

• Deliver excellent customer service and address client concerns.

• Keep accurate records and ensure vehicles are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of construction, handyman, or general labor experience.

• Proficiency with tools like drills, saws, and caulk guns.

• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test (including marijuana screening).

• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally out-of-state with overnight stays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods.

• Comfortable working on ladders and roofs for prolonged durations.

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and wildlife.
