Job Summary:
The Service Supervisor manages multiple franchises within a state, primarily focused on guiding and leading the technician teams to success, using their skills to help improve the quality of work conducted in the field and prepare/ lead technicians. The Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and completing the work of removing/excluding unwanted animals according to customers’ work orders, conducting remediation activities and putting preventative measures in place. This position will involve working as part of a team on large jobs or doing individual jobs while ensuring the success of individual Technician teams. The Service Supervisor also provides training, coaching and leadership to the other Technicians and maintains company safety standards, the shop’s inventory, and coordinates with Pest Manager for product ordering and delivery.

Work Location: Local travel and Overnights/Out of State work as needed
Work Schedule: 7:30 – 5 Monday-Friday, In-season hours adjusted for demand

Essential Job Functions:
Technical Work:
- Ensures the daily performance and completion of the technician’s schedules.
- Manage the oversight of Technician schedules considering routing, job durations, materials, personnel, etc.
- Provides leadership, training, and coaching for an entire fleet of technicians.
- Remove unwanted animals according to customers' work orders, conduct remediation activities and put preventative measures in place.
- Work as a team on both larger and more difficult jobs with technicians as well as individual jobs/ work responsibilities. Operate as the Lead Technician when on a job site with others.
- Maintains quality results by adhering to company standards.
- Maintains safe work habits by following company standards.
- Provides training to both new hires and established personnel, reinforcing and establishing proper installation techniques consistent with company standards.
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
- Make sure proper notes and pictures are put in work orders on Service Bridge.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Fill in Building Tech schedules when the Scheduler is out sick, on vacation or as needed.
- Provide the customer with world class customer service.
- Address customer questions and concerns.
- Always be courteous and polite.
- Have a world class appearance and ensure the vehicle also has a world class appearance.
- Resolves customer dissatisfaction by investigating complaints and identifying and implementing solutions.
- Coach current and new employees on proper use of the company supplied safety equipment (harnesses, proper anchor point installation, Pitch Hoppers, and power tools).
- Continually works to reinforce and train technicians’ installation techniques and best practices.
- Assists and leads recurring informational or safety meetings with the Service Manager between Techs.
- Coach ladder and roof safety to all company employees on job sites
Training/Certifications Required:
- 5 years of adjacent contracting experience
- Clean driving record and has ability to operate a company issued vehicle
- Willingness and commitment to become a NWCOA Certified Wildlife Control Professional
Required:

- Construction skills. Competent with hand tools, minor roofing, and exterior repairs

- Prior experience managing teams in a professional leadership capacity - focused on leading or managing entire technical fleets.
- 5 years of company or related contracting experience

Work Environment
Bending, kneeling, and crawling into tight spaces to carry out site work. Requires standing for a long period of time. Ability to safely use ladders and work at heights for long periods of time.
Travel:
Some intrastate travel required, some overnight stays at MI territories may be required. Must have a valid driver’s license, pass motor vehicle record search, and have and maintain a good driving record that is acceptable to our insurance company.
