Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist for a 13 week contract! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to orthopedics, acute care, and pediatrics.
- Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physical therapy modalities to facilitate recovery.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using medical terminology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies.
Requirements
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice or a compact license.
- Experience in orthopedics, acute care, clinic settings, or home health is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
