Job Description-
Position: RN Med Surg(Auto Offer)
Location: Columbus, GA
Shift: 12 Hours Night Shift(36/48 hours both)
Locals Accepted : Yes
Duration- 13 weeks with possible extension
Pay package for travelers (Radius rule 50 miles from the facility)
$27/hr. (Taxable) $1,246 weekly stipend (Non-Taxable). Total weekly gross is $2,650/37.5hrs. OT Rate-$40.50/hr.
Pay package for locals (Within 50 miles from the facility)
$48/hr. (Taxable). Total weekly gross is $2,496/48hrs. OT Rate-$72/hr.
Client's Requirement-
- BLS, NIHSS
- Georgia or Compact State License
- 2 years of RN Med Surg experience required
36 or 48 Hour Guarantee!
Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Med Surg unit with patient diagnoses including cancer patients, Medical/Surgical patients, Trauma post care, Chemo/Immunotherapy administration, chest tube insertion and removal, all types of drains, port access, Pleurx management
Ratio / Census: 1:6; 26 Beds with average daily census of 26

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting, including assessment and monitoring of vital signs.
- Administer medications and perform IV insertions as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with catheterization and tube feeding procedures.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with nursing standards.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health management.
