2nd Shift Outbound Team Lead Opening Phillipsburg NJ Area!!!
Looking for a new job opportunity?! Our client-company is looking for 2nd Shift Outbound Team Lead. The facility is located in the Phillipsburg NJ area.
Purpose:
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in directing and supervising the warehouse operations. Coordinate and lead warehouse activities daily.
Essential Duties:
- Participate in implementing work schedules and ensuring that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
- Lead and coordinate unloading and stacking of inbound shipments and the picking and staging of outbound shipments.
- Promote the efficient and safe operation of product handling equipment.
- Maintain product location system and ensure optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation.
- Complete all necessary reports in timely and accurate fashion.
- General business support function as assigned.
- Perform all daily job functions required of a Warehouse Worker/Checker such as storing, packing, picking, shipping, and receiving.
- Lead the Warehouse staff by instructing, assisting and providing support.
- Monitors outbound activities.
- Assist in inventory control.
- Assist in managing space utilization.
. Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues.
- Ensures staff is following company policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Approximately 3 years department or industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution and/or transportation.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership.
- Knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations and transportation.
- Must be able to pull, lift and bend. Must be able to lift minimum 20lbs.
. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Organization Relationships:
Will work with all levels in the organization.
