A well-established commercial and industrial plumbing company is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale education and industrial renovation projects, as well as ground-up builds. The ideal candidate will assist in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation while coordinating with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing multiple large-scale commercial plumbing projects simultaneously.
Perform accurate take-offs of materials and labor hours to ensure project profitability.
Analyze vendor proposals and make logical recommendations.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, superintendents, and external project managers.
Generate proposals for customers and assist in contract negotiations.
Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Work closely with teams to monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Qualifications
Proven experience in plumbing, mechanical, or construction management.
Strong estimating skills with the ability to assess material and labor costs accurately.
