Our client X is a national leader in boutique fitness, is looking for an amazing General Manager to lead their team. The General Manager will oversee all Studio functionality from client services to managing Sales and Instructor staff. The ideal candidate has fitness management experience and the ability to build, lead and motivate a team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Preferred 2 years in fitness management or 3
- 5 years in business management.
- Ability to lead in sales and in training successful Sales Representatives.
- Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams : memberships, retail, private training, and teacher
training
Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person,on the telephone and via email

This is a full time position requiring work on evenings and weekends.Be present for Intro classes to lead or assist your team.Embrace the brand culture of inclusivity amongst staff and members.Provide exceptional level of customer service to existing members via face-to-face service in studio or out, phone and email.Maintain proficiency at Club Ready software to troubleshoot client account inquiries and possible sales opportunities.Hire, train, assist and supervise a sales team with the following goals : Drive and retain memberships.Ensure the team contacts all prospects / leads within 12 hours.Achieve a corporate objective of 100 sales tasks completed by your team per day.Develop a consistent sales presentation that meets corporate and ownership approval.Train all sales staff to be self-sufficient in all aspects of the position including understanding documents, membership sign ups and cancellations.Implement a performance evaluation program for sales team members.Generate a minimum of 50 monthly leads through grass roots networking / community events andstudio promotions.
Weekly monitoring and collection of any outstanding dues.Hire, manage and schedule all instructors.Maintain a monthly member schedule reflective of membership numbers, member requests and approval of management.Submit bi-weekly payroll data utilizing an excel payroll template to ownership by end of day Monday of the pay week.Submit all employment offers to ownership for approval prior to extending to candidate.Personally, contact any member that provides negative feedback with respect to their studio experience and report discussion to management.Build rapport with the entire franchise team and support by phone if requested.Participate in weekly franchise IDS management team meetings.Work weekly with the District Manager to develop strategies for success.Participate in an initial 30, 90-day performance review and a bi-annual review thereafter.Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Studio.Enforce all franchise policies and procedures.Ensure all forms, administrative supplies and studio literature is stocked and visible.Any other duties as assigned.COMPENSATION PACKAGE :
