Job Title: General Manager
Location: Wellesley, Massachusetts
Base Salary: $65,000 per year, paid biweekly
Bonus: Eligible for 3% commission on new sales
14 days of paid vacation per year
$400 monthly employer contribution toward health insurance
We’re searching for a rockstar Pilates Studio General Manager–a strong leader who is dedicated to cultivating relationships within the studio and leading by example as an exceptional instructor. If you have a background in Pilates instruction and/or fitness studio management and are ready to take the next step into leadership and team development, this is the role for you!
As a General Manager, you are committed to the growth and development of your team and are passionate about sharing the brand and workout with others. You will undergo a Pilates training program to instruct an average of 8 classes per week in addition to observing in-studio for a minimum of 20 classes per week. This is a multi-faceted role responsible for all aspects of studio performance and growth, and you are accountable for ensuring that all areas of the business are fulfilled and driven by achieving goals and performance growth.
\n- Work closely with leadership to manage day-to-day operations of the studio and implement company-wide strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the delivery of positive customer service and a fitness experience consistent with service standards.
- Run reports and analyze metrics on key performance indicators, including sales, utilization, retention, expenses, and payroll.
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to drive client acquisition and exceed studio-specific goals.
- Ensure all client inquiries, issues, and concerns receive a positive and timely response.
- Foster relationships with the local health, fitness, and wellness communities as well as key influencers and potential corporate partners.
- Create, monitor, and maintain class and staff schedules.
- Maintain inventory for supplies, retail, and beverages as needed.
- Plan and host team meetings and social events.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pilates Instructor
- At least 1 year of Leadership experience (lead instructor, instructor trainer, gym management, or related role)
- Previous experience in developing membership sales
- Ability to take and master Pilates training program
- Ability to instruct at least 8 classes per week
- Elevated business acumen to report on, analyze, and strategize around performance metrics and KPIs
Salary : $400 - $65,000
