Job Description
This is a challenging role that requires a skilled respiratory therapist to provide patient care services in various settings, including medical floors, adult critical care and the emergency room.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer breathing treatments and secretion mobilization techniques to patients
- Use non-invasive and invasive ventilation equipment to support patient care
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubation assistance as needed
- Collect and analyze blood gases, and obtain EKGs as required
Equipment Utilization
The successful candidate will have experience working with various medical devices, including ventilators, non-invasive ventilators, IPV, and Capnostream 20 ETCO2 monitors.
They will also be proficient in using an OmniCell medication dispenser and EPIC EMR system.
