Key Responsibilities :
Assist in Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures :
Assist cardiologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, balloon angioplasties, and electrophysiology studies.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging and monitoring equipment used during catheterization procedures, ensuring proper setup and functioning.
Patient Preparation and Monitoring :
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring informed consent is obtained, and assisting with patient positioning and comfort.
Sterile Technique and Equipment Handling :
Ensure the cath lab environment is sterile, maintaining a sterile field throughout the procedure to prevent infection.
Radiologic Imaging :
Operate fluoroscopy equipment and provide real-time imaging during catheterization procedures to guide cardiologists in diagnosing and treating heart conditions.
Collaboration with Medical Team :
