Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Lab Tech, you will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests, preparing specimens, and assisting in various scientific procedures to ensure accurate results. You will work alongside a team of medical professionals to support diagnostic testing, research, and ensure the safety and quality of lab operations. Key Responsibilities : Collect, process, and prepare biological and chemical samples for testing and analysis. Perform routine laboratory tests, including chemical, microbiological, and hematological analyses. Record test results and maintain accurate and organized documentation for laboratory records. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all devices are properly calibrated and in good working order. Perform quality control tests to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results. Ensure that laboratory safety protocols are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of lab supplies and reagents, ordering materials as necessary. Follow strict laboratory guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure proper sample handling. Assist with preparing and testing specimens for research, diagnostic, or clinical purposes. Communicate test results to the relevant medical staff or researchers in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment by following all cleaning and safety protocols. Participate in training and continuing education to stay current with laboratory best practices and new technologies.
