Key Responsibilities : Patient Preparation : Pre-treatment assessments : Review patients’ medical history and ensure that the treatment plan aligns with the doctor’s specifications. Patient positioning : Position patients on the treatment table according to the prescribed radiation treatment plan, ensuring they are comfortable and in the correct alignment for each session. Marking the treatment area : Use skin markings or temporary tattoos to mark the treatment area for accurate radiation delivery. Administration of Radiation Therapy : Operate equipment : Set up and operate radiation therapy equipment (linear accelerators, simulators, etc.) to deliver prescribed doses of radiation.
