NOW HIRING!!! We are seeking Injection Mold / Process Technicians with plastic manufacturing and machine operator experience for plant located near Batavia, IL area to elevate their fabrication, production and machine operator team and perform daily operations assigned to all operators such as : precision, repairing welding and assembly. This position is a temp to hire opportunity, payrate based on prior experience / or education / certifications. Candidates must have strong machine technical skills, multitasking abilities and experience with operating manufacturing machines. Payrate Range : $21-30 per hour, based on candidate level experience.
Skills and Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required :
- Injection / Plastic Molding experience (3-5 years)
- Operate machinery presses, welding, power tools and other machinery
- Repair small mechanical and installation fixtures
- Ensuring quality control procedures and safety checks
- Strong knowledge of machinery or set-up operator skills
- Previous experience with hand and power tools experience
- Experience with maintenance repairs, wiring hydraulic Numatics, pipe fitting etc.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Some knowledge of various power tool equipment (grinders, conveyors, chillers, scales, dryers, etc.) and hand tool equipment (drills, clippers, utility knives, etc.). Requires general supervision under standard practices.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to questions from managers, engineers, and coworkers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
