Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Cleaners for company located near Blvd
East St Louis, IL 62206. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organized, and presentable. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. The assigned area could be an aircraft, building, hospital or other facility. Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. Duties may include cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors. Dusting furniture, pictures, ventilation, lights and blinds, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning windows, restrooms and other normal cleaning and maintenance duties. Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by supervisor not limited to the following below:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies as needed to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude towards work.
