Job Summary
\Staffing Ninja is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Claryville Facility. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all production and facility equipment.
\The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on electrical systems and motors, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
\Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electromechanical equipment, including preventative and corrective maintenance. \
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and optimize equipment performance. \
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and planners to develop process improvement strategies and ensure a safe and efficient work environment. \
- Develop and implement plans to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime. \
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines. \
- Work with motor control systems, PLC systems, and other complex equipment to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues. \
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency. \
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to enhance knowledge and skills. \
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completion dates, start-up dates, and detailed descriptions of tasks performed. \
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
\Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
\Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
\Strong understanding of electrical systems, motors, and related equipment.
\Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
\Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance procedures.
\Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs and stand/walk on hard surfaces for 8-12 hours per day.
\Ability to work in cold, humid, and hot environments (ambient temperature ~40°F).
