Job Description: Litigation Paralegal

A reputable personal injury law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking motivated individuals for the role of Litigation Paralegal, with openings for both entry-level candidates and those with prior experience. This position involves providing support to attorneys during all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through trial and post-trial proceedings. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional service, possess strong organizational skills, and excel in both verbal and written communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents, correspondence, and exhibits.
- File court documents in compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations.
- Organize and summarize depositions for case use.
- Arrange and compile discovery responses.
- Assist with trial preparation, including creating trial exhibits, trial binders, and preparing witnesses.
- Perform administrative tasks such as calendaring legal deadlines and maintaining records in the case management system.
Qualifications
- Entry-level to 3 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and client follow-ups.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Familiarity with case management systems (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Education and Certifications
- Paralegal Certification, Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies, or equivalent experience in the legal field.
- Certified Notary Public (Preferred).
