Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Analysis : Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining parameters, tool selection, and tolerances.
- CNC Programming : Develop and edit CNC programs using specialized software to produce parts efficiently and accurately.
- Machine Operation : Operate CNC machines and other equipment, such as saws, lathes, and milling machines, to produce parts according to specifications.
- Measurement & Precision : Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure part accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve programming or mechanical issues during machining, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Quality Control : Inspect finished parts to verify they meet the required specifications and tolerances.
