Job Title: Senior Injection Molding Process Technician
We are seeking a skilled Senior Injection Molding Process Technician to join our team at Staffing Ninja. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of molds, troubleshooting processes, and supporting new process development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Mold Installation & Setup: Conduct new mold inspection, installation, and setup, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting & Process Optimization: Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machinery; collaborate with engineering teams to improve efficiency.
- New Process Development: Work with Engineering on new process development and plant productivity initiatives.
- Quality & Documentation: Interpret and adhere to quality system data, ensuring thorough documentation and effective communication of data.
- Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with Shift Process Technicians to optimize existing processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of five years in a hands-on plastics injection molding role.
- Education: Two-year technical degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of IQMS and basic PC literacy.
- Testing: Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude assessments.
