We are seeking a Project Engineer – Bridge to join our dynamic team in Albany, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for complex engineering design tasks, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring junior staff. You will work on bridge, retaining wall, and transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design calculations and translate design criteria into completed projects.
- Work on projects including bridges (prestressed concrete and steel plate girder), retaining walls, and box culverts.
- Develop technical reports, investigatory studies, and structural detailing.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, DOT regulations, and engineering codes.
- Assist Project Managers with contract development, cost proposals, and technical scope of services.
- Lead project tasks, monitor budgets, and ensure timely delivery within cost parameters.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to resolve design challenges.
