Minimum Requirements :
Experience in setting up and operating 3 Axis Vertical CNC Mills, 4 & 5-Axis Horizontal Mills. Such as : Mori Seiki with Fanuc controls and Grob G350 with Siemens controls.
Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring heads, fixtures, inserts and other accessories.
Utilize all necessary gages and equipment to properly inspect part accuracy.
Be able to detect and adjust machines to correct any defect or problem with part setup.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have a high attention to detail.
Knowledge of G and M codes.
Knowledge and understanding of CNC mill programs.
Maintain all records required.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Following safety, 5s and environmental procedures and regulations.
Must be a United States citizen or Green Card Holder
High School diploma or equivalent education.
The ability to use basic measurement equipment. Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, Dial Bores, Air Gages and other equipment as necessary.
The ability to read simplified blueprints.
An understanding of basic mathematics.
Basic computer skills.
Have the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Have the ability to work with others as a team.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to lift 30 lbs. Key Skills and Competencies :
Minimum 5 years' experience preferred for set-up persons.
