POSITION SUMMARY :
The E-Learning / Instructional Designer will focus on developing and editing online learning materials and content. This includes assessing learning needs and the audience, and analyzing existing instructional material needs such as lesson plans, lesson content, learning objectives and assessment tools.
In addition, when needed they will be responsible for the redesigning of courses, developing entire courses or curriculums and creating training materials, such as teaching manuals and student guides with the goal to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 1-3 years of experience designing and developing e-learning content, to include how to use systems and technological tools.
- Working with a company's proprietary Learning Management System (LMS)
- Must be bilingual (English / Spanish) at an Advanced level in a business environment
- Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and / or Adobe Captivate
- Be able to write effective copy, and write scripts for audiovisual media / storyboard
- Must have exposure / knowledge of photography, video and audio production.
- Must have some knowledge / skills within the following areas : Instructional Design, Simulation based training, Course Design, Organizational Development, Adult Learning Theory, Learning Strategies and Development, and Quality Assurance Testing.
- Experience using a variety of design tools, including but not limited to Camtasia and software within the Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Audition
- Software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Animate
- Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, UI, Web Design and Graphic Design
- BS / MA degree in instructional design, communications and media production, or relevant exp.
