SNI Companies is working with a Health Services company located in Fairfax, VA who is seeking a Jr. Staff Accountant able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
This role is 100% onsite and immediate. Potential Contract-to-hire opportunity for the right person.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- A / P using QBO
- Vendor statement reconciliation
- Credit card recons
- Job Costing
- Posting Payroll Journal Entries
- A / R - billing invoices with supporting timecards
- Review timecard for correct client billing allocations
- Assist with Month End Close
- Comfortable sitting and talking on the telephone for extended periods of time in a clear and concise manner.
- Working knowledge of GAAP .
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
