Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Boutique Grocers in Sisters, OR. This role is essential in providing exceptional service across various departments within our boutique grocery store. As a Boutique Grocer, you will engage with customers, assist with product selections, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and promote sales.
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
• Assist in stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the cleanliness of the store environment.
• Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling and cross-selling products.
• Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management.
• Support team members across various departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping customers find the right products.
• Willingness to learn about new products and participate in product demos.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
