Production Technician- Forklift Experience REQUIRED
The primary function of the Production Technician position is materials processing, building and grounds keeping, and support to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Qualifications

Ability to read, write and speak American English fluently
Environment
Primarily functions in an outdoor environment : dealing with heat, cold, dust, wind, rain, snow and ice, the capacity to deal with noisy equipment, production, and street noise
Physical
Able to sit, stand, climb, walk, bend, kneel for extended periods of time
Use of arms and hands to manage vehicle or heavy equipment
Vision acuity as required by DOT
Hearing acuity as required by DOT, and as needed for communicating via phone or face to face
Able to push, pull, lift containers, equipment, and material over 100 lbs. without assistance

Duties
Process and prepare materials for appropriate recycling mediums in a safe and efficient
manner
Uses all safety equipment and personal protective equipment per policy guidelines
Reports safety concerns to Operations Manager
Reports damages or maintenance needs on equipment or grounds to Operations Manager
Maintains harmonious relationships with customers and vendors
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of required reports
Assists in maintaining good housekeeping of equipment and facilities
Attends regularly scheduled safety meetings
