A successful Hearing Instrument Specialist is highly motivated and organized, can work independently, and demonstrates the ability to maintain and continue building relationships with patients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Conducting patient diagnostics by administering hearing evaluations, tests, and/or examinations.
- Fitting and dispensing hearing aids and recommending proper assistive devices according to patient needs.
- Creating or modifying impressions for earmolds and hearing aid shells
- Educating patients on using their hearing aids or other hearing accessories.
- Providing appropriate aftercare for all patients to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Traveling to satellite location to perform all job-related functions listed above as needed
Requirements
- Current license to dispense hearing instruments (HIS or BC-HIS)
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Excellent people, organizational, and communication skills
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
