A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Technician

Salary: $29/hr - 39/hr (depending on experience)

Location: Wichita, KS 67209

Industry: Aviation

Shifts: Typically 2nd Shift, M-F, 3pm-11:30pm; additional shifts may be available

Employment Type: Long term contract with potential for fulltime employment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid FAA Airframe license required. Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License highly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years general aircraft experience is required.
• 1 year of experience on corporate aircraft is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
• MUST own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
• Possess basic PC skills
  
  

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Work directly with clients to help them find solutions.
