Job Description
A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Technician
Salary : $29 / hour (depending on experience)
Location : Wichita, KS 67209
Industry : Aviation
Shifts : Typically 2nd Shift, M-F, 3pm-11 : 30pm; additional shifts may be available
Employment Type : Long term contract with potential for fulltime employment
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid FAA Airframe license required. Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years general aircraft experience is required.
- 1 year of experience on corporate aircraft is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
- MUST own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
- Possess basic PC skills
