Aviation Technician (A&P)

Salary: $28/hour (depending on experience)

Location: Tucson, 85756

Industry: Aviation

Shifts:1st Shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00am to 2:30pm

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Must have a valid A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) license
• Minimum of 2 years experience either on: aircraft, fixed wing or rotary or Military aircraft
• Experience on business aircraft preferred
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
• Own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
• Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
• Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
• Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
• Basic PC skills
• Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)
  
  

Job Duties:

• Adhere to Company General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and/or Hangar positions).
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft often working directly with clients to help them find solutions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
