Job Description:
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and cost-effective repairs to machinery. This includes completing scheduled/unscheduled facilities & maintenance repairs to support efficient plant operations, minimize production downtime, and ensure products are manufactured in a safe and cost-effective environment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and remedy problems with facilities equipment and control systems.
- Respond to maintenance and facilities emergencies that occur on off-shifts and make necessary corrections.
- Perform preventative maintenance to equipment to assure efficient and long-term trouble-free operation.
- Support external contractors to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Prioritize work orders based on business needs and site priorities.
- Perform facilities troubleshooting and repairs as required.
