Actuarial Analyst Needed - Shaker Heights, OH
Location : Shaker Heights; will be hybrid - 2 days in office
Salary : $80K-$90K
The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for receiving, informing, and executing projects that entail the entire scope of the data science and actuarial pipeline which include, but are not limited to : integrating disparate and centralized data into data marts, developing statistical models, designing and automating report distribution while continuously presenting and re-assessing results in support of Population Health and Operational Effectiveness initiatives. This position will both lead and support interdisciplinary collaboration to identify opportunities and deploy adaptive analytic strategies to provide measurable improvements in value-based reimbursements for care delivered to current and future patient populations.
What You Will Need To Have :
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related Quantitative discipline (Required)
- 2 years Working with complex analytic situations, health insurance, or health claims data (Required)
- Proficiency with SQL / complex SQL queries (Required proficiency)
- Experience with at least 1 advanced programming method (e.g. Python, R, etc.) (Required proficiency)
- Ideal candidate will have passed 3 or more actuarial exams.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
