Position: Director of Strategic Management Accounting

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $65k to $80k/year (depending on experience)

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Director of Strategic Management Accounting to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols while performing tasks across various work areas.
• Drive the company’s strategic growth and profitability, working closely with leadership to develop financial strategies.
• Evaluate purchasing and sales procedures, providing recommendations to the President and CEO to increase profits and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing and Sales Departments to optimize resource allocation and capabilities, ensuring organizational growth and profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships both internally and externally to support company objectives.
• Establish methods for tracking and evaluating product performance through data collection and analysis.
• Analyze historical data, forecasts, and trends to identify potential opportunities and risks.
• Advise the President and CEO on operational changes to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Implement and administer company policies and practices, suggesting necessary improvements.
• Complete additional duties as assigned while maintaining regular attention to daily responsibilities.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, corporate development, strategic planning, investment banking, or management consulting, or an advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with strong computer skills.
• Mathematical aptitude for accurate and detailed calculations.
• Ability to interpret and understand contracts and agreements.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Regular interaction with all levels of management.
• Frequent contact with external partners and financial institutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and external sources.
