Job Description:
- Plants, digs, sod cuts, cuts cup, trims, burns, sand pros, prunes, mows, edges as appropriate grass, ground cover, weeds, and shrubs.
- Rakes, sweeps, collects and removes as appropriate leaves, grass, clippings, and trash.
- Mixes and applies fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides.
- Assist in the maintenance and repairs of the Irrigation system when assigned.
- Performs routine maintenance on all equipment and vehicles.
- Picks up litter.
- Drives trucks and off road vehicles for transportation purposes.
- Paints as appropriate.
- Cleans maintenance shop.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Understands the purpose of fertilization, herbicides, and insecticides.
- Able to maintain cooperative working relations with other employees.
- Polite and friendly when in contact with resort guests.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions.
