Position: Roofing Sales/Estimator
Location: Pearl City, HI
Pay: $20 to $25/hour commission (current staff makes more than $100,000 per year!)
Experience: Must have at least 1 year of recent roofing experience
Type: Full-time; (Direct Hire OR Contract OR Temporary OR Per Diem)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30am start time and the end time may differ depending on when site visits are completed

Job Description:
- Review blueprints and construction drawings to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor for roofing projects.
- Inspect roofing sites to assess roof condition, identify material needs, and determine the scope of work.
- Calculate material and labor quantities based on roof size, material types, and architectural requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates by gathering proposals, and blueprints, and consulting with contractors, clients, and vendors.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices for materials and labor.
- Use specialized software to create accurate estimates, proposals, and bids for clients and contractors.
- Work with project managers and clients to provide cost updates and adjust estimates for any changes or challenges.
- Review completed projects to compare estimates with actual expenses and improve future estimates.
- Clean driving record and valid Hawaii Driver's License.
- Strong attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of roofing materials, labor costs, and industry standards.
- Ability to support project financial feasibility while ensuring high customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
