What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gloucester: Full Time Nanny Needed for 2 Children position at Staffing Studio?

Do you like to play outside, enjoy the beach, playdates, arts and crafts, being silly, and having fun?! Our Gloucester family is looking for an amazing nanny to join their team. Their two young children need full time care starting at the end of March. Ideal candidates have lots of experience caring for, engaging, and playing with toddlers and preschool aged children. The nanny will be responsible for helping with pick up and drop off for big sibling who goes to part-time preschool. The family prefers that the nanny use her own vehicle to transport the children. While big sibling is at school, little sibling hopes to play, engage, and go on adventures! If you truly love children and this work, we want to hear from you!
Charges: 4 year old boy & 2 year old girl
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Wednesdays 8:00am-12:00pm
*Some flexibility but ~40 hours per week needed*
Rate: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience and fit
Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid holidays, paid time off
Start Date: March 24th, 2025 (some flexibility for the right person!)
Job description:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
- Lots of play, age appropriate activities, crafts, and general engagement!
- Tidying up after children and work day
- Bathing and dressing
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Proactively planning outings and activities (Family will provide weekly $$ stipend for activities)
- Indoor and outdoor play, going for walks, outings, playdates, etc
- Preschool drop off and pick up
- Children's clothing and towels laundry
- Emptying/loading the dishwasher as needed
Requirements:
- Warm, patient, loving demeanor
- 5 years of childcare experience with references
- Excellent communication skills
- Active, energetic, LOVES CHILDREN!
- Comfortable around a friendly & calm 8 y/o Husky mix
- Organized and professional
- Non-smokers only, please.
- Up-to-date CPR/First Aid Certification
- Cheery and Helpful Disposition
- Background Check (provided by agency)
- Driving Record (provided by agency)
- Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
