Sr. Hardware / Quality Assurance Engineer
Summary : Coordinates qualification, quality, and sustained engineering efforts for custom and servers and components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Validate server electronics, mechanicals, and documentation against requirements.
- Use accelerated stress and margining tests to validate features and performance.
- Define and execute test strategies for server components (disk drives, cards, processors, memory).
- Release components for new and existing designs and create necessary documentation.
- Manage new product introductions and changes using PLM tools (ECO, PNR, PCN).
- Support validation and documentation of prototype platforms for early evaluations and regulatory tests.
- Perform level 3 failure analysis on field returns and manufacturing issues, collaborating with suppliers as needed.
- Work with quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, and production personnel to address product issues.
