Data Center Install & Test Engineer
W2 Only (No 3rd parties, No C2C
Contract to Hire - $45-60 / hr.
Conversion Salary $95-120K
Location : Plano, TX
Travel : Up to 30% (Domestic & International - must have passport)
Data Center Install & Test Engineer :
This role involves leading a team of up to six members to install, configure, and test prebuilt server and rack solutions in data centers worldwide. This customer-facing position requires strong technical expertise, communication skills, and confidence in managing deployments, typically lasting one week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee installation, configuration, and testing of prebuilt data center solutions.
- Manage a team of up to six technicians to ensure seamless deployments.
- Provide expertise in networking, topology, cable management, PDU power systems, and Spine & Leaf architecture .
- Collaborate with clients and team members to troubleshoot and optimize server deployments.
- Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
