Job Title : Coding Supervisor
Job Type : Permanent (Direct Hire)
Job Location : 100% Remote (Must reside in approved states : AK, AL, AR, AZ, FL, ID, KS, LA, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, WY )
MUST be able to obtain a static IP
Reporting To : Manager of the coding group
Team Size : ~10 members (Inpatient, Same Day Surgery, Observation Coding)
Assessment : Required for consideration
POSITION SUMMARY
- Responsible for supervising and coordinating the timely and accurate coding and abstracting of hospital inpatient, same day surgery, and emergency trauma center encounters. Responsible for ensuring procedural compliance with regulatory and professional standards governing coding and billing. Provides coding and billing resources and educational information relevant to coding. Oversees the coding staff and completes review of MS / APR-DRGs, ICD-10 CM, PCS and CPT coding to ensure accurate and compliant coding and billing as supported by documentation.
