Responsibilities for the Staffing Recruiter position:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidates' fit for the position
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as necessary
- Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms with selected candidates
- Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment
Qualifications for the Staffing Recruiter position:
- Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role
- Knowledge of HR sourcing techniques and tools
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as ADP, Taleo, TempWorks or Paychex
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively negotiate and close job offers
- Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes
- Excellent research skills to identify potential candidates
- Familiarity with human resources policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Sales experience is a plus
